Judges 3:1-6 (NKJV)
The Nations Remaining in the Land
1 Now these are the nations which the LORD left, that He might test Israel by them, that is, all who had not known any of the wars in Canaan 2 (this was only so that the generations of the children of Israel might be taught to know war, at least those who had not formerly known it), 3 namely, five lords of the Philistines, all the Canaanites, the Sidonians, and the Hivites who dwelt in Mount Lebanon, from Mount Baal Hermon to the entrance of Hamath. 4 And they were left, that He might test Israel by them, to know whether they would obey the commandments of the LORD, which He had commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.
5 Thus the children of Israel dwelt among the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites. 6 And they took their daughters to be their wives, and gave their daughters to their sons; and they served their gods.
The church has not only tolerated but welcomed the world into its fold. They have intermingled, i.e., intermarried, with unbelievers and adopted many of their practices. Instead of driving out evil and exposing the darkness as lights the church has welcomed it, not all, but many have hence they have become a snare to the body of Christ.
Instead of waring in prayer and battle a watered down Word is preached and the church capitulated to the World through compromise.
Now the enemy is entrenched among the body and the body, in order to reclaim its land must drive them out by warring for the ground that was given up through complacency.
With that said, here is the vision I saw.
I saw people, believers, assembling for battle in civilian, street, clothing. They had no armor whatsoever and no weapons to speak of. They were going to fight a well funded, well trained, well armed demonic hoard. People perish because of lack of knowledge.
These are those who have never warred in the Spirit. They have had a polyana, loveboat Christianity preached to them. They have never faced a war like the one that brewing. Hence the need of the fivefold to arise and train the body.
