One the night of November 3rd when the media crowned Joe Biden as winner I thought I was having a heart attack. My chest became tight and I could feel extreme pressure. It was then that the Lord dropped the following Scripture into my heart.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is the evidence of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
True faith does not deny reality but rather acknowledges it and petitions heaven to intervene.
The following is a quote that is apropos for this blog post.
In natural matters faith follows evidence and is impossible without it, but in the realm of the spirit faith precedes understanding; it does not follow it. The natural man must know in order to believe; the spiritual man must believe in order to know. The faith that saves is not a conclusion drawn from evidence; it is a moral thing, a thing of the spirit, a supernatural infusion of confidence in Jesus Christ, a very gift of God.
A.W. Tozer man, the dwelling place of God
This is a Red Sea moment. We have Pharaoh’s army at our back, the Red Sea in front and no place to go. Either God intervenes and makes a pathway or this is over.
Again faith is not denying reality but rather asking God to intervene and change what is impossible in the human realm but possible for God for all things are possible with God.
As for me and my house we will continue to fast and pray for the Lord to perform a miracle because we are at the stage that this is the only thing that can change things.
One thing worthy of note is that President Trump stated that he would submit to the authority of the constitution but would continue the fight for right. I believe that this humbling of himself and realizing the hopelessness of the situation is what the Lord was waiting for.
To bring a comparison of sorts it was not Jesus’ mighty miracles but rather His humbling of Himself and submission to a sinful man’s ministry, i.e., John the Baptist that elicited the response of His Father from heaven, ” This is My Beloved Son in Whom I Am well pleased”.
As with anything I post take this to the Lord in prayer.
