The End of the Church As We Know It….. A Second Dream

I had a dream 02/17/2014 and in the dream I was what seemed to be a home group. I say a home group because I got the sense that this group was attached to a church that met in a building. In the dream We were discussing various things but it is when I began to tell people about a dream I had in January of 2010 that people began to leave and I was left with no one in the room to tel my dream to. No one said to me to stop telling my dream or that they weren’t interested in hearing it, they just left and went about their business like I had never said anything about the end of the church. I am posting the dream that I had back in 2010 below.

Let me share a dream I had. In the dream, I saw a wooden coffin and inside the coffin, I saw a church with 2 very large pillars outside. also saw the lid of the coffin resting on the knuckles of 2 hands and the hands in turn were resting on the coffin like one would do just
before nailing it shut. So, as you can imagine, there was very little light left in the coffin because of the lid of the coffin being almost on the coffin. Getting back to the church I saw inside the coffin, I saw thousands of people coming out of the church and jumping out of the coffin as fast as they could. However, there were 2 groups of people who refused to leave,
in fact; they had their fists held in the air. These 2 groups were standing by the 2 very large pillars I had seen earlier in my dream. These pillars had names. The name of the first pillar was religion and the name of the second pillar was politics.

The interpretation of the dream was given by Pastor Guy and is as follows:

A coffin is what you bury the dead in. The coffin in your dream is
religious tradition holding the church (the people in the church) in
captivity from following Jesus. The two large pillars outside are the
gods of the church. The hands belonging to the knuckles in which the
lid of the coffin rested on were the hands of the Lord holding the lid
from closing all the way till those who were going to leave this
traditional church made it out.
The hands which were resting on the coffin like they were about to
shut it was the hands of the spirit of anti christ who was shutting
out the light through lies and deception. This will be a time as the
parrabel in Matt 25 of the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten
The foolish virgins will be those remaining in the coffin and refusing
to repent from their gods of religious politics and accept the life of
Christ. Those coming out of the coffin are those who recognize the end
is here and they came out from among them as God said to do in 2 Cor.
6:14-18. The door is about to shut and be sealed.

Some additional things the Lord showed me John 5:25 NIV84

25 I tell you the truth, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.

Those who hear are the ones coming out of the casket.
The people who standing by the pillars refusing to leave are the ones of whom Jesus says that they are trying to kill Him because there is no room in their hearts for His word. Which is why they did not leave the church in the coffin and why they will try to kill any move of God that would cause people to want to leave the coffin. They prefer the darkness of the coffin where their deeds go unexposed John 3:19-21 NKJV

And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.

Coming Famine………A Second Dream

I had a dream 02/10/2014 and in this dream I was in some kind of meeting in a church. We were all sitting at tables. In the dream there was a pastor, who I recognized, talking and passing out cards each having a word on it which we were supposed to give a definition for. I do not remember the word I was given, however, I do remember that it had to do with food and I remembered a dream I had back in April of 2011.

Here is the  dream from 2011

I had a very frightening dream Monday, April 25, 2011 and the Lord basically told my wife the same thing the following morning. In my dream, I was in a very large grocery store, something like a Costco,  and there was an overabundance of food everywhere the eye could see. And then I felt the Lord say that there is a very severe famine coming that will test the faith of all believers. If you remember the 70′s when Gas was rationed and you had to go get gas on the day assigned to you according to your license plate number so will it be in this famine. Money will not be in short supply, food will. Many believers’ stomachs rather than their faith will dictate their actions in this time. This I believe is how the mark will take hold. Money is not the issue here. If you remember in revelation no one could buy or sell without the mark When the shelves are empty, we must realize that God, and not our money or jobs is our ultimate provider. I believe that right now is a time of abundance but as in Pharaoh’s dream that Joseph Interpreted for him, there were years of abundance followed by years of famine in which the abundance was quickly forgotten. This is why the house church is so important. Acts 2 will begin to play out here, i believe.

All the believers kept meeting together, and they shared everything with each other. From time to time, they sold their property and other possessions and distributed the money to anyone who needed it. The believers had a single purpose and went to the temple every day. They were joyful and humble as they ate at each others homes and shared their food.

When I was done sharing this dream, the pastor looked very uncomfortable and wished that I had never said anything.  I find that it’s no coincidence that I was given a card with a word having to do with food on it. I also find that being that the dream was repeated a second time means that there is a sense of urgency to it and a warning that should be headed. What comes to mind here is the following:

And since the dream was repeated to Pharaoh twice, it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass.
(Gen 41:32)

Rapture Dream Re-visited

I had a dream, 05/24/2012,  and in the dream, I saw Jesus standing with a winnowing fork in His hand.  A winnowing fork is what is used to separate the wheat from the chaff like John the Baptist describes in Matthew 3:12 and Luke 3:17. However, in this case I did not get the sense in the dream that this had to do with final judgment bur rather had to do with who would be taken and who would be left behind. I saw in the dream the rapture occurring and I saw people in two’s as is described in Matthew 24:40-41 where it talks of two men in the field, one taken and one left and two women with a hand-mill, one taken and the other left. In the very next verse Jesus gives a warning that must be heeded by all which is to be watchful because you do not know the day not the hour of the Lord’s return, As I previously stated, I saw people in two’s as the rapture occurred and as the ones being taken began to ascend towards heaven, those being left behind grabbed onto their shoes, I saw tennis shoes on those being taken and am not quite sure of the meaning, because they knew what was happening and that they were being left behind.  The last thing that I heard was Luke 21:36 being quoted, ” WATCH THEREFORE AND PRAY ALWAYS THAT YOU MAY BE COUNTED WORTHY TO ESCAPE ALL THESE THINGS THAT WILL COME TO PASS, AND TO STAND BEFORE THE SON OF MAN.”

When I had this dream in May of last year I was puzzled as to why the only people being taken were wearing tennis shoes, red tennis shoes, a fact that I omitted in the original post but am placing here now. I believe that they were red to stand out in my dream. What do you do in tennis shoes? You run. You Jog. You walk. With that said, what does Jesus tell us to do in the great commission?

And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, All authority is given to Me in Heaven and in earth. Therefore go and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things, whatever I commanded you. And, behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the world. Amen.
(Mat 28:18-20)

Notice that the Lord’s command is to go and tell and not to come and hear

Next, let’s look at how we are to prepare.

Therefore stand, having your loins girded about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all, take the shield of faith, with which you shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God,
(Eph 6:14-17)

Notice that in the armor described above we are to have our “feet” shod with the preparation of the gospel. This falls in line with the Lord’s command in the great commission, “go”.

How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without preaching? And how shall they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things!”
(Rom 10:14-15)

This is what I feel that Lord has shown me concerning this dream.

The Great Revival

Smith Wigglesworth’s 1947 Prophecy

During the next few decades there will be two distinct moves of the Holy Spirit across the church in Great Britain.  The first move will affect every church that is open to receive it and will be characterized by a restoration of the baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit.  The second move of the Holy Spirit will result in people leaving historic churches and planting new churches.  In the duration of each of these moves, the people who are involved will say “This is the great revival’, But the Lord says ‘No, neither is this the great revival but both are steps towards it.

When the new church phase is on the wane, there will be evidenced in the churches something that has not been seen before: a coming together of those with an emphasis on the Word and those with an emphasis on the Spirit.

When the Word and the Spirit come together, there will be the biggest movement of the Holy Spirit that the nation, and indeed the world, has ever seen.  It will mark the beginning of a revival that will eclipse anything that has been witnessed within these shores, even the Wesleyan and the Welsh revivals of former years.  The outpouring of God’s Spirit will flow over from the UK to the mainland of Europe, and from there will begin a missionary move to the ends of the earth.

I was reading the following chapter of Revelation when I got the feeling in my spirit that this could very well be talking about revival, possibly the Great revival of which Smith Wigglesworth speaks of.. I am by no means saying, thus saith the Lord”. What I am saying is that this sounds like a description of the great revival and what I was feeling, with the emphasis on the word. “feeling”, here.

When the Lamb broke the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets were given to them. Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the angel’s hand. Then the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar, and threw it to the earth; and there followed peals of thunder and sounds and flashes of lightning and an earthquake.
(Rev 8:1-5)

Jesus Himself said the following words, “”I have come to cast fire upon the earth; and how I wish it were already kindled! “
(Luk 12:49)

The word, “cast and / throw used in Revelation and in Luke is the Greek word βάλλω (ballo) which means to cast and / or throw.

If this is correct, this revival would be in the middle of  a world in a great turmoil.  Six of the 7 seals had already been opened, the 7th seal, and 7 being the number of divine perfection, is where it speaks of fire being thrown to the earth and also afterwards of the 7 angels who would sound further judgements of the Lord

In any event, this is something to take to the Lord in prayer.

Re-Thinking Church

Not using your experiences or your knowledge of what you have come to know as church be it good or bad, describe church using only the Word of God as your only resource.
The YouTube video that I posted on my blog, uploaded by Francis Chan does a phenomenal job, in my opinion, of doing just that.

Several of my blog posts, one a vision, the other a dream bears witness to what Francis Chan says.

The Sleeping Bride

I had a dream 10/18/2013 just before getting up. In the dream I saw a woman dressed as a bride lying in a coffin. In the dream I got the sense that she was not dead but sleeping and awaiting to be awakened. She did not have the color of death in her face and she was so clothed that she would be ready for the wedding the minute her groom awakened her.

This reminds me of an awakening which is what revivals of the past were called where the church was awakened from its slumber and revival broke out. It’s been over 100 years since the Azuza street revival and I pray that we won’t have to wait much longer for this one. This nation, this world needs to see a move of God. This dream reminds me of a dream and vision that I had in March of 2012 that I will post below. The dream then had to do with Tucson, Arizona, however, I believe that the dream I just posted above has much broader implications.

I had a dream early the morning of March 1, 2012 about Tucson having an earthquake. The dream was real enough that I wanted to and intend to purchase earthquake insurance for my house. I personally believe that the dream is indicating both a spiritual and physical event about to hit Tucson. What comes to mind as I write this is the vision from Ezekiel 37 regarding the valley of dry bones. “So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I prophesied, there was a noise. And behold, a shaking! And the bones came near, a bone to its bone”.
(Eze 37:7 MKJV) Some of these bones are buried and we walk over them not knowing that they even exist. So an earthquake would definitely reveal that which was hidden from view, at least that is what I am thinking.

The Hebrew word used for shaking here is, ra‛ash, and following is the definition of the word:

A masculine noun referring to an earthquake, a shaking, a rumbling, a commotion. It indicates a quaking of the surface of the earth (1Ki_19:11-12); the quivering and shaking of a warhorse as it engages a battle (Job_39:24); or the brandishing, shaking of a javelin (Job_41:29 [21]). It refers to the roar and commotion, the clatter of a battle itself (Isa_9:5 [4]); or the preparations for war (Jer_10:22). It depicts the noise of a rolling chariot wheel, hastening into battle (Nah_3:2). It is used of the sounds made by the Lord’s chariot appearance and movement (Eze_3:12). It stands for an earthquake itself, a great shaking, trembling (Amo_1:1; Zec_14:5).

When I spoke to my former Pastor regarding the dream he said the following, ” it’s very similar to a prophecy that several shared with me 4 years ago in Tucson. The urgency seemed to be centered around the airbase at that time. For whatever reason. I pray it’s a spiritual awakening, but the concern has been there about disaster”.

The Lord gave me a word the following day about the dream of the Earthquake I had which was, ” the dead in Christ will rise first”. I have been seeing in visions of tombs opening up. What I feel the Spirit saying is that the, “dead” here have to do with His church. The earthquake will wake the church here in Tucson. In addition, the , “dead”, are spoken of in Ephesians and says the following, “But all things become visible when they are exposed by the light, for everything that becomes visible is light. For this reason it says, “Awake, sleeper, And arise from the dead, And Christ will shine on you.” The word, “sleeper”, here comes from the Greek word,”καθεύδω katheúdō which means to be spiritually asleep, i.e., secure and unconcerned in sin, or indolent and careless in the performance of duty. The word, “dead”, comes from the Greek word, “νεκρός nekros”, which metaphorically means, spiritually dead, destitute of a life that recognizes and is devoted to God because its given up to trespasses and sins; inactive as respects doing right; destitute of force or power, inactive, inoperative.
(Eph 5:13-14 NASB)

Fishers of Men

I had a dream 07/14/2013 and in this dream I was in a church, but in another part of the building. There were tables there so I am guessing that this was some sort of social room. I remember, for whatever reason, that the church that I was in was an Assemblies of God. I am not sure of the significance of that fact as of yet, however, when the Lord shows me, I will update the post.

Back to the dream.

In this dream I was seated talking to an older woman with blond hair and she also had crooked teeth, again details I remember from the dream. I remember telling her that the great commission from Jesus was for us to be fishers of men, i.e. make disciples and teach all nations. I remember telling her that you can’t fish from the comfort of a building but you have to be in the sea n order to fish. I then told her that the sea in the Bible is sometimes indicative of people. So, in order to be catching fish, your boat has to be in and among the sea of people. Remember, Jesus brought the church to the people, furthermore,  the Gospel of John says that the Word became flesh and dwelt among us.We then talked about an outpouring of the Holy Spirit . That was the end of the dream. This dream reminds me of a vision I had several years ago.

In this vision I saw a very stormy sea, at night, with no moon nor stars, and in the sea, there were people drowning. Also in the sea, were many rowboats with a captain in each and the captain, along with those in the boat were rescuing those who were in the sea. The boats would only hold so many and that is why many boats were needed. I saw that the boats all rowing to a light house. Also in the vision, I saw a very large ocean liner. It had a crew of thousands and it took every member of the crew to run the ship, no one could be spared to aid in the rescuing those who were drowning in the sea. Furthermore, the ocean liner was huge and very high so that it would be impossible for its crew to reach a hand into the water to rescue those who were drowning. As you might have guessed, the row boats are symbolic of house/simple churches. A rowboat can only hold so many before it begins to sink. The ocean liner is the mega church(machine) it has so much machinery needed to keep the vessel running that it can’t spare anybody. And when I saw the ocean liner steer toward somebody that was drowning in an effort to save them it ended up killing them. I believe that the Lord is returning the His church back to ts roots and to the simplicity of the gospel message from which it was birthed, I believe that the,”machinery” is being dismantled and the complexity of the machinery is giving way to the simplicity that is the Gospel pattern for church.

The Burdens The Religious/Religion Place Upon People

I had a dream 07/14/2013. In the dream I saw people walking dragging these heavy weights. And then I saw people on either side of them yelling at them and giving them more weights to drag thus impeding their walk. The scripture that the Lord dropped into my heart here is:

“They tie up heavy burdens and lay them on men’s shoulders, but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as a finger”. (Mat 23:4) These are the religious of which Jesus has the following to say.

“But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries and lengthen the tassels of their garments. “They love the place of honor at banquets and the chief seats in the synagogues, and respectful greetings in the market places, and being called Rabbi (or pastor, elder, deacon, prophet, apostle, etc.) by men. (Mat 23:5-7)
If you don’t love the sinner, i.e., help carry the burden by loving them instead of adding to it by condemning them, then the Lord will not give you the right to speak into their lives.

Remember, religion is all about keeping up outward appearances. The heart does not come into play with a religious person.

Jesus said to come to Him all that labor and are heavy laden and that He would give rest to those who came to Him. This is an open invitation by the Lord to all those bound by the trappings placed upon them by the religious.religion.

As I saw these people slowly moving along while being constantly harassed by those on the side lines, I saw that they were moving towards a set of doors.  Then I saw a group of people with open bibles standing in front of the doors blocking the people from entering through the doors.

The Lord dropped the following scripture into my heart after seeing this.

“But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from people; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in”. (Mat 23:13)

Are we obstacles or conduits?

The Ark

This is the second dream that I had on 07/04/2013 before waking this morning. In this dream I saw an Ark much like the one described in Genesis that Noah built. The ark was on dry land and it was next to a mountain. The difference in my dream and what was described in Genesis was that there were people coming into the Ark. In Noah’s time he warned people of God’s pending judgement upon the earth when the ark was on dry land and I am sure he looked like a crazy fool which is how prophets are sometimes thought of. In my dream, once again, there is an ark and it is on dry land and people are being warned by God’s prophets to come into the ark before the waters of tribulation come. If you remember the Lord’s words to His disciples where He said, “For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. “For as in those days which were before the flood they were eating and drinking, they were marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so shall the coming of the Son of Man be. (Mat 24:37-39)

The Puzzle Vision Re-visited

I posted a blog entry ,When You Come Together, a little while ago. Today, I attended a traditional church at my daughter’s request to check it out. My wife and I had left the traditional church a while ago at the direction of the Lord.

While at the service, I saw the puzzle vision again only this time I was seeing the people standing in their chairs as missing puzzle pieces. Where a puzzle piece would normally have some part of a picture on it, what I was seeing was white puzzle pieces with no picture whatsoever.

Then I looked up front and I saw the pastor and he had his hands full of puzzle pieces and was trying to do it all. In stead of the image of Jesus Christ being formed through the cooperation of everyone in my original vision, what I now saw was a jumbled mess of puzzle pieces. In the original vision each person, representing a part of the body of Christ had a puzzle piece and each was needed to form the image of Jesus Christ. This wasn’t the case here and is not the case in traditional churches because the body of Christ has been reduced from active participants to spectators watching one man, usually the pastor, do it all.

The church is called a body for a reason. Each body part has a function which the other body parts depend on. We are not all an ear or a leg or a hand. But we are all to participate when we come together to re-assemble the body of Christ.

I re-post the Scripture from 1 Cor 14:26 as this is what the church is supposed to look like when it comes together.

So what does this mean, brothers and sisters? When you gather, each person has a psalm, doctrine, revelation, another language, or an interpretation. Everything must be done to help each other grow.
(1Co 14:26)

As I said above, the traditional church does not let the body of Christ be just that, the body of Christ. Instead, as I said above but it is worth repeating, the body is reduced to pew sitters. Instead of being equipped, the body is crippled. No relationships are formed because no one has to work with anyone else to re-assemble the body of Christ the pastor does it all.
