Stuck In “Church”?

I had a dream where I walked off of the street into a church. The church was predominantly black but I am not sure as tp how this plays into the dream. People were lined up to greet the pastor and I too was in the line,  however, as I stated beforehand, I had just walked into the church so I am guessing I was just doing what the rest of the church did.  The pastor was a black female, again I am not sure whether or not this had any special bearing on the dream. She was going down the line greeting people until she got to me. She did not greet me but instead glared at me. I did not get the sense that she glared at me because I was not black. actually I am Italian, but because I am a watchman and I knew what was going on within the church building. The scene then shifted and I was looking for a place to sit. There was a table where 2 people were sitting both were white men. again I am not sure this had any bearing on the dream. They were reading and discussing translations of the Bible. One thing I did notice was that everything seemed ritualistic and there was no life in the church. I do not recall Jesus being mentioned at all during the time I was there. I then remember trying to leave but was having a hard time finding a way out

There are many stuck in the building called church trapped by religion and ritualism. One may leave the church system with all its rules, regulations, and bylaws but it is another thing to get this out of the individual. It is worthy of note that the word’ religion”, itself comes from the Latin wore, religare, which means to bind fast.

Fresh Word (Manna) Fresh Water(Anointing)

Deu 8:3  And He humbled you and allowed you to hunger and fed you with manna, which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you recognize and personally know that man does not live by bread only, but man lives by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of the Lord.
Exo 16:16  This is what the LORD has commanded: Each of you should gather as much as you can eat. Take two quarts for each person in your tent.” Each of us is responsible for gathering our own bread, we are not to depend on anyone else.

Exo 16:18  They measured it into two-quart containers. Those who had gathered more didn’t have too much. Those who had gathered less didn’t have too little. They gathered as much as they could eat.

Exo 16:19  Then Moses said to them, “No one may keep any of it until morning.” Mat 6:11  Give us our daily bread today.

We can’t live on yesterday’s word, a fresh word and fresh revelation must be sought from the Lord each and every morning if we are to be fed and nourished.

Exo 16:20  But some of them didn’t listen to Moses. They kept part of it until morning, and it was full of worms and smelled bad.(stale revelation is ineffective and those who cling to it are ineffective . Stale revelation , like the manna, smells bad and is full of worms. Just as worms fill a decaying body, so it is with stale revelation and there are many bodies of believers trying to live on stale revelation) So Moses was angry with them.

When tempted by the devil in the wilderness, Jesus quotes the passage from Deuteronomy 8:3

Mat 4:4  But He answered and said, It is written, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word(rhema- an utterance) that proceeds( ekporeuomai- to go forth, go out, depart, to come forth, to issue, to proceed, to flow forth, of a river) out of the mouth of God.” Mat 6:11  Give us our daily bread today.

A vision the Lord showed me 10/24/2009. In the vision I saw water pouring from the throne of God to the earth. Some stood under the flow with their hands cupped and took as much as they could drink and then offered it to others. Others, brought buckets to gather the water in so that they would not have to go back so often, but, like the manna, anointing must be sought every day or it becomes stagnant. Water that’s not flowing is stagnant and stagnant water is dead and attracts creatures that feed off of death. A Rabbi of Jesus’ day would not wash his hands in stagnant water, it had to be flowing. The Lord showed me this in my own life. We are not to trust or rely on our anointing but in the Anointed One, Jesus. We must, as the days ahead grow darker, seek him for fresh revelation and fresh anointing daily.

In these last days it is crucial to remain in His anointing and to hear His word.

The Power of the Cross

I had a night vision as I lay in bed 03/07/2014. In the vision I saw a group of believers gathered in a circle holding hands. In the middle of the circle was the Cross of Christ. It was  dazzling white in appearance. I saw power emanating from the cross in the form of small lightning bolts and the bolts were striking the people in the circle in their foreheads. They were receiving power from the cross. What I noticed in the dream as well was there was darkness all around save for the light coming from the cross that was illuminating the circle where the believers were gathered. The cross was the central thing that they seemed to be gathered around.

It is no coincidence that before I fell asleep that I was reading the following scriptures:

For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel–not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power. For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1Co 1:17-18)

Below is a vision that I had in 2010 that goes along with this latest post.

I had a very tragic vision on 07/25/2010. In the vision I could see many preachers, their pulpits
were lined up next to each other, they were very learned men, some were in suits and some were in robes, and they were preaching to a very large …congregation . The eyes of everyone in the congregation and their attention were on these preachers. In back of these preachers I could see Jesus on the cross. Not one of the preachers ever mentioned the cross in his preaching and no one in the congregation ever looked at the cross, their eyes were on the preachers and they were attentive to the “wisdom” that was being taught by them

Man’s wisdom empties the cross of its power. In the vision above that is exactly what was happening.

In order to experience resurrection power, one must first be willing to be crucified with Christ. Below is a quote from A. W. Tozer that I feel appropriate to place here.

“The new cross does not slay the sinner, it redirects him. It gears him into a cleaner and jollier way of living and saves his self-respect. To the self-assertive it says, ‘Come and assert yourself for Christ.’ To the egotist it says, ‘Come and do your boasting in the Lord.’ To the thrill seeker it says, ‘Come and enjoy the thrill of Christian fellowship.’ The Christian message is slanted in the direction of the current vogue in order to make it acceptable to the public.”

“The old cross is a symbol of death. It stands for the abrupt, violent end of a human being. The man in Roman times who took up his cross and started down the road had already said good-by to his friends. He was not coming back. He was going out to have it ended. The cross made no compromise, modified nothing, spared nothing; it slew all of the man, completely and for good. It did not try to keep on good terms with its victim. It struck cruel and hard, and when it had finished its work, the man was no more.”
–A.W. Tozer

I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; yet no longer I, but Christ lives in me. And that life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.
(Gal 2:20)

Heaven Awaits

I had a dream 02/09/2014 and in the dream I saw many many people in 2 columns and they were waving palm branches. I then saw God seated upon His throne and these people who were in the columns were waving palm branches before Him. In the dream I could see God from the neck down, I could not see His face but I could see  Him seated upon His throne. The sight was magnificent.

Here are the scriptures that come to mind as I ponder this dream.

After these things I looked, and lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues, stood before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palms in their hands.
(Rev 7:9)

But as it is written, “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,” nor has it entered into the heart of man, “the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
(1Co 2:9)

Coming Revival, a Second Vision

I had a second vision after the one I posted yesterday. In this vision I saw what I will call a miniature battlefield which I believe to be different geographic regions of the world. The battlefield replica  laid flat I am guessing on a table. I also saw a hand with a a bunch of miniature flags in it. These looked like small pennants. As flags were placed on the battlefield replica, I noticed that each one had a number on it. The number on the flag was facing the one putting it there and only He could see it. I am guessing that there was a sequential order to the placement of the flags that was not for humans to know. I am guessing that each flag represented battles and victories. When the hand that held the flag would place the flag on the battlefield replica I would the see the flag being breathed upon. I am assuming that this was the breath of the Holy Spirit and this, I believe, to be revival.

Coming Revival

I had a night vision on 01/22/2014. In this vision I saw people on the streets. I saw people being prayed for and coming up out of wheel chairs. I saw others, with people gathered around them, preaching the gospel. What I did not see and perhaps this was the most significant part of the dream is the fact that the people preaching and healing in the streets had no faces. . In other words, theses were ordinary people without big names and ministries. Celebrities have names and faces we recognize and tend to therefore idolize The second thing in the dream that I found significant is the fact that this was not going on in a building but rather in the streets and in the outdoors. Remember, “the Word became flesh and dwelt(tented) among us. In a building you are sheltered from the elements and can isolate yourself.  One has no such luxury in the outdoors and in the streets.

The Beginning of the End

I had a dream 01/04/2014.  In the dream I saw the President of the United States speaking from a podium. I do not know if it was our current president or some future president. For whatever reason the person was concealed from me. This is because his visage was in the dark and I could not make out who was speaking, although in the dream I knew it was the President. It was like you see on television when the news station is protecting the identity of a person that they’re interviewing by just showing his/her silhouette  and also masking the person’s voice so that you wouldn’t be able to identify them. In the case of the news, they were protecting the individual. In the President’s case, however, this was not so. I am not sure why he chose to conceal himself.

In the next part of the dream I remember packets of forms coming to the house from the government. These forms looked like an inventory of everything you owned.  On the list you were given the opportunity to “choose” whether you retained control of your possessions or the government took control of your possessions. I remember seeing my grandfather’s form upon which he’d written that he will retain control of all he had. This part of the dream was strange because he has been dead since 1986.

If you did not make the choice to allow the government to control all that you own, then you would find that the local police were knocking at your door and questioning you.

In the dream I remember hearing a voice saying that this was the beginning of the end which is also the title of the post.

I do not have a grasp as to the full meaning of the dream as of yet but will add to it as I get more revelation from the Lord.

White Washed or Washed White?

I had a dream 12/11/2013. In the dream I saw people lined up at a church altar and it looked at first as though they had responded to an altar call. Then I noticed the church leaders, both pastors and elders, had buckets of white paint and these large paintbrushes in their hands, the kind you would use to paint a barn. These church leaders were painting the people standing there with the white wash that they had in their paint buckets. It would seem that instead of coming clean and confessing their sins they were instead being covered with this whitewash to give the semblance of being clean and in essence told that everything was ok. I also noticed that the hands of the people at the altar were black, I’m assuming that the black represented sin.  I do not remember hearing any message of repentance or any telling the people assembled at the altar to change the way that they think or act. They just stood there and allowed the church leaders to cover them with the whitewash.

What comes to mind here is the following scriptures.

When you spread out your hands in prayer, I hide my eyes from you; even when you offer many prayers, I am not listening. Your hands are full of blood! Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
(Isa 1:15-18)

“It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, ‘Peace!’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash; so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out. “Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?'” Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath. “So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. And you will know that I am the LORD. “Thus I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you, ‘The wall is gone and its plasterers are gone,
(Eze 13:10-15)

They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. “Peace, peace,” they say, when there is no peace.
(Jer 8:11)

Whom Are You Worshiping ?

I came across a vision I had in August of 2011. I felt it was profound and am posting it to my blog.

When Jesus engaged the Samaritan woman at the well in John chapter4, their talk eventually led to the subject of worship.

Jesus said to her, Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you shall neither worship the Father in this mountain nor yet at Jerusalem.
(Joh 4:21)

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth.
(Joh 4:23-24)

So I would say that from this dialogue, so far, it would see that the “how” is more important than the “where” when it comes to worship because it is the “how” that the Lord is looking for.

Then we have the verse in between these 2 verses upon which this post is predicated upon.

You worship what you do not know(perceive), we know (perceive)what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews.
(Joh 4:22)
Here is the vision from 2011.

I was standing beside Jesus and He was knocking at the door of a church and no one would let Him in. I could see inside the church and people were worshiping and the people seemed to be engaged, but Jesus wasn’t there.

If it is not Jesus that they were worshiping, then just whom or what is it that they were worshiping.

If acceptable worship to God is to perceive whom it is you are worshiping, then it would seem that in this vision that God was not being worshiped at all. Perhaps it was just the concept or idea of God that was being worshiped and not the actual person.

Scary thoughts in any event to not even know whom you are worshiping.

Our Reasonable Act of Worship

I posted the following dream below in September of 2103.

I had a dream the morning of 09/26/2013 . In the dream I was inside a church although not a part of the church, I was just inside observing. I saw 2 sets of pews that were full of people on both sides with an aisle separating the pews. Then I saw, towards the front of the church, a large cross and it was laying with the top corner of the cross and foot of the cross positioned in such a way as for someone to stoop down and get underneath the cross and carry it. The cross was positioned with the foot of the cross towards the pulpit and the top was facing the doors of the church. It was as if it were placed there for anyone willing to stoop down and pick it up. What I found significant is the fact that in every church I have ever been in, the cross was always standing, usually on the platform where the preacher preaches his sermon but here it was not, instead, it was among the people The people in either side of the pews paid no attention to it as they were engaged in worship getting their Holy Spirit buzz. Then I saw a young man get out of the pew, walk towards the cross, stoop down, pick it up, and then proceed to walk out of the church. I remember people laughing at him as he did this. Sound familiar? The young man was undeterred and carried the cross, now his cross out of the church.

Today, 11/22/2013, the Lord gave me further revelation on the dream which I am posting. If you look at my description of the people in the church you see that on both sides of the aisle the pews are packed with people worshiping. In the aisle I describe the cross laying on its side with the top part facing the doors of the church. Additionally, I describe a young man towards the middle of the church of the right side make his way to the aisle, stoop down, pick up the cross and head out the door while people on both sides of the aisle laughed at him.
What the Lord showed me is that this young man who was being mocked was the only one whose worship was acceptable to the Lord because true worship involves sacrifice and not just singing songs. Romans 12 bears this out.

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God–this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is–his good, pleasing and perfect will.
(Rom 12:1-2)

When Abraham went to sacrifice Issac at the Lord’s command he said that he and the boy were going to worship.

He said to his servants, “Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”
(Gen 22:5)

What we would call sacrifice the Lord calls worship.
