Direction of United States

As I was praying this morning I saw a very large sailing ship that was sideways in the water of what looked to be a very large waterfall. The ship had to have been heading in that direction for it to have gotten there but now it was at the edge but not going over the waterfall to its destruction. This in the natural would be an impossibility as the sheer force of the flowing river would have forced the ship over the waterfall. Inside the ship I saw a captain at the wheel trying to turn the ship, which as I stated above was a sailing ship, around and there were others at the wheel fighting him for control of the wheel. The ship in this vision is the United States and the captain is Donald Trump. Many are fighting for control of the ship but President Trump had at least turned the ship sideways and was attempting to turn it around. This in the natural would be impossible as the direction of the flowing water would have pushed the water over the falls. Nevertheless this is what he was attempting to do. I think it significant that this was a sailing ship because the pilgrims came over on a sailing ship and dedicated America to the Lord. Secondly it is significant that I saw a sailing ship because a sailing ship needs the wind to fill its sails in order for it to move. The wind here is the Holy Spirit and it is the wind of the Spirit that will turn the ship around and head upstream against the current that was leading the ship towards its destruction.

We need to keep this president in much prayer as there are many forces against him and the fight is going to get worse as the plans of the enemy once concealed are brought to light.

As with any dream/vision I post, take this to the Lord in Prayer and see what He says to you.

God’s Light vs. Man

I had a vision that I was shown a few days ago where I saw what looked to be the inside of a very dimly lit church. The lighting was so dim that I could barely make out the people seated in the pews. I saw that each person seated had a flashlight in their hands. I saw a man standing behind a pulpit, the pastor I presume, holding a flashlight as well. I then watched as the person standing behind the pulpit shone his light on individuals seated in the pews. When the individual(s) would shine a light towards the man in the pulpit, he would duck hiding behind the pulpit. It is interesting that the people had no place to duck and get away from the light of the man standing behind the pulpit while the man standing behind the pulpit could duck and avoid having a light shone upon him.

Several things scare me about this vision. First and foremost is the fact that there was no light and the light that was there was man made. Secondly the fact that this man made light, i.e., a flashlight, was being used by both the man standing behind the pulpit and those seated in the pews says to me that accusations were being made only the man behind the pulpit had the advantage of hiding behind the pulpit to be able to avoid having the light shone upon him while those seated in the pews had no such advantage.

To say that this represented, even remotely, how the body of Christ was meant to operate would be a travesty. Furthermore to say that there was fellowship happening would also be a travesty. True fellowship is described as follows:

1Jn 1:5-7 This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. (6) If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. (7) But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

The light of Christ  is to bring us into fellowship with Him and with each other. It is not a game of, “gotcha” as I perceived to be occurring in the vision I was shown. Light exposes darkness but not for the purpose of being found out but rather being set free. The first act of God’s creation was light and that was not the  creation of the sun but rather the light and knowledge of God’s presence as man was created to walk with God naked and unashamed in His light.

God Raises Up A Standard

When the enemy comes in like a flood,  The Spirit of the Lord will lift up a standard against him.

I have been in much prayer concerning the upcoming presidential election . I am sure that I am not alone. As I was praying this morning I heard the above  verse from Isaiah being spoken to my spirit. Then I saw Donald Trump standing on the White House lawn. in his left hand he was holding a cross that looked as if it had been driven into the ground. In his right hand was a sword. Please don’t think by standard that Donald Trump is whom the vision refers to. The  power of the cross of Christ is the standard raised up to stop the enemy from coming in like a flood.

Take this to the Lord in prayer and see what He speaks to you concerning  the vision.

Direction

As I was sitting at a business convention today, I saw a vision. I am posting it because it is staying with me. In the vision I see what I believe to be the country of England. Then, as I watch, I see it change to a directional arrow. I see the arrow pointing towards what I believe to be Europe. Then I saw multiple directional arrows pointing outward from the original directional arrow.  The arrows I saw were not like the ones that would be shot from a bow. They were, as I previously stated, directional arrows. That for the moment is all I know to put down. As the Lord shows me more I will post.

Jars of Clay

2Co 4:7 But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it will be evident that such overwhelming power comes from God and not from us.

I had a vision this morning as I was praying.  In the vision I saw white, I am assuming, Alabaster Jars because they were white.  I saw that the outside was white being that they were alabaster, however, the inside of the Jars were full of dirt up to the rim of the jar.The dirt in the jars was hard because, I believe, it had been there for a long time. It is worthy of note that the outside of the jars were white and clean-looking. Then I saw a stream of water being poured on them. At first the water  just poured over the jar because the dirt inside was so hard. As the water kept on pouring, however, I saw the dirt begin to loosen and soften and I then saw mud which meant that the water was beginning to penetrate. The water kept on pouring until there was no trace of mud inside of the vessel, only clean drinkable water.

God shares His glory with no one. So the dirt in the vessel is what I will call “self”. The water only became drinkable when the dirt, “self”, was totally cleansed from the vessels. Nobody in their right mind would want to drink muddy water.  While the Lord may be pleased to put His power in jars of clay He will not allow His power to be polluted with, “self”, just as He will not share His glory with anyone.

Got Fruit?

As I was praying this morning I saw a vision of people with baskets of fruit in baskets that they were carrying. They had so much fruit that the fruit was falling out of the baskets.  They also had people following them who were eating the fruit. Then I saw another group of people with baskets in their hands that contained no fruit and they were yelling and hurling accusations at the people who had fruit in their baskets and even picked up the fruit that had fallen from the ones with fruit in their baskets and hurled it back at them. They had no one following them because there was no fruit in their baskets. The fruit of which this vision speaks is the fruit of the Spirit. The empty baskets speaks to the people with little to no fruit in their lives.

(Gal 5:22) But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

(Gal 5:23) gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

The fruit of the flesh, if you will, is as follows:

(Gal 5:19) Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,

(Gal 5:20) idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,

(Gal 5:21) envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Love is the first of the 9 fruits of the Spirit mention in Galatians. I Corinthians 13 is known as where love is defined.

1Co 13:4-8 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. (5) It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong]. (6) It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail. (7) Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening]. (8) Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end].

It is my belief that if you have love then the rest of the fruits of the Spirit will be evident as well.

It is  God’s desire that we bear much fruit.

Joh 15:7-8 If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. (8) By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.

Joh 15:8 When you bear (produce) much fruit, My Father is honored and glorified, and you show and prove yourselves to be true followers of Mine.

We will be judged by the fruits we bear.

Joh 15:2 Any branch in Me that does not bear fruit [that stops bearing] He cuts away (trims off, takes away); and He cleanses and repeatedly prunes every branch that continues to bear fruit, to make it bear more and richer and more excellent fruit.

Remember also that Jesus cursed the fig tree.

Mat 21:18-19 In the early dawn the next morning, as He was coming back to the city, He was hungry. (19) And as He saw one single leafy fig tree above the roadside, He went to it but He found nothing but leaves on it [seeing that in the fig tree the fruit appears at the same time as the leaves]. And He said to it, Never again shall fruit grow on you! And the fig tree withered up at once.

For those of you who do not know, a fig tree produces figs before it produces leaves. So when Jesus saw a fig tree  full of leaves He looked for fruit and found none and subsequently cursed it so that it no longer bore fruit. This is an example of deception in that the tree appears to be a healthy fruit-producing  tree but upon close inspection is barren.

Jesus tells us that we will know “them” by their fruits.

Mat 7:20 Therefore, you will fully know them by their fruits.

Thy Word Have I Hid In My Heart…….

Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might not sin against thee Psalm 119:11

While driving home the morning of 01/28/2016 I was shown a vision. In the vision I saw myself, I believe that I was kneeling, holding an open Bible. Around me I saw Shepherds standing. The reason I presumed that they were shepherds is because each was  holding a shepherd’s staff in his hands. In the vision, as I stated above, I was holding a Bible opened to the beginning,  which is Genesis. Starting with that book I began to tear, page by page, pages out of the Bible, fold them up, and then eat them.  As I ate them I saw that light was shinning through my eyes. The more I ate, the brighter the light. The scripture that was given to me as I saw this vision is both the title of this posting as well as what I have quoted above from Psalms.  As for the shepherds standing around me, I am not sure of their significance in the vision except to say that they were not feeding me the word, I was feeding myself.

Sitting On the Shelf

I had a vision that I know was meant for me, however,  I know that others can benefit from it as well.

1Co 6:19-20
19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20 you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.
(NIV)

I quote the above scripture because it helps explain  the vision that I saw.  When one accepts Jesus plan of salvation and now Jesus is his/her Lord and Savior, that person no longer belongs to himself / herself.  Instead the person belongs to Jesus who can do whatever He pleases with the individual because He bought them.
The word “Lord” in the New Testament comes from the Greek word “kyrios and its definition is as follows :
He to whom a person or thing belongs, about which he has the power of deciding.

With that said, here is the vision that I had. In the vision  I saw a shelf with jars on it.  Some of the jars had been there for a while. I saw a hand reach up and take a jar down, blow the dust off of it and begin to examine the contents of the jar. The jar in this vision was me as I have been set on  the shelf for a while. The contents of the jar, it seemed, determined how, if, or when it would be used.

Again remember that the Lord, at His discretion can choose to use or set you on the shelf for a later time

The City Of God

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
(Mat 5:8)

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
(Mat 7:21-23)

They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.
(Rev 22:4)

“Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood. (Rev 22:14-15)

I saw a vision the morning of 09/27/2014. In the vision I saw heaven and there were many people there. However, there were only certain ones given the privilege of entering through the city gates. These were the ones with the mark of God (His name) written on their foreheads who were permitted to pass through the city gates. In other words, they were known. I did not see them having to present any credentials in order to enter the city. Those guarding the gates allowed them top pass because they were known to them. The others viewed the city from a distance.

The Puzzle Dream Re-Visited Once Again

I posted a blog entry ,”when you come together”, a while ago. In May of 2014, I attended a traditional church at my daughter’s request to check it out. My wife and I had left the traditional church a while ago at the direction of the Lord.

While at the service, I saw the puzzle vision again only this time I was seeing the people standing in their chairs as missing puzzle pieces. Where a puzzle piece would normally have some part of a picture on it, what I was seeing was white puzzle pieces with no picture whatsoever.

Then I looked up front and I saw the pastor and he had his hands full of puzzle pieces and was trying to do it all. In stead of the image of Jesus Christ being formed through the cooperation of everyone in my original vision, what I now saw was a jumbled mess of puzzle pieces. In the original vision each person, representing a part of the body of Christ had a puzzle piece and each was needed to form the image of Jesus Christ. This wasn’t the case here and is not the case in traditional churches because the body of Christ has been reduced from active participants to spectators watching one man, usually the pastor, do it all.

The church is called a body for a reason. Each body part has a function which the other body parts depend on. We are not all an ear or a leg or a hand. But we are all to participate when we come together to re-assemble the body of Christ.

I re-post the Scripture from 1 Cor 14:26 as this is what the church is supposed to look like when it comes together.

So what does this mean, brothers and sisters? When you gather, each person has a psalm, doctrine, revelation, another language, or an interpretation. Everything must be done to help each other grow.
(1Co 14:26)

As I said above, the traditional church does not let the body of Christ be just that, the body of Christ. Instead, as I said above but it is worth repeating, the body is reduced to pew sitters. Instead of being equipped, the body is crippled. No relationships are formed because no one has to work with anyone else to re-assemble the body of Christ the pastor does it all.

The original “puzzle vision” follows:

What then shall we say, brothers and sisters? When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be
done so that the church may be built up.

The Lord showed me a vision 02/26/2013 and in this vision I saw people gathered around an oval table. The table was low to the ground so that you had to sit on the floor. The people I saw sitting there around the table each had a piece of a puzzle. As they all worked together, the image  on the puzzle began to take shape and when they were finished, the picture was of Jesus Christ. He was the center of the meeting. Each one had to do his part in finishing the puzzle and it was not left to one person to do the work of the group. This is how real relationships are built and what church done Jesus’ way should foster.

This is church.

The only reason for the gathering of believers was to re-assemble the body of Christ with each part, I.e., the foot, the hand, the eye, etc. doing its part so that the church, Christ’s body on earth may be edified and that Christ may be glorified.

They did not gather because of a charismatic leader, I.e., a pastor.

They didn’t gather because of church programs.

They didn’t gather because of the worship team.

Today, 08/31/2014, I was asked once again by my daughter to  attend a church with her and her husband. The service was a show, to say the least. It was Sunday morning entertainment at its best. At least that was my opinion of what I saw going on. It was during the service that I again I saw puzzle pieces only this time they were in a giant pile. To look at them one would have absolutely no clue as to what piece fits with what. The word that I got was confusion. This is not a coincidence because the last time we attended this particular church my wife had joined us and the word she got as she entered the church was ,”Babylon” which comes from Babel which means confusion. No one knew where he/she fit in the body they were just a mess of puzzle pieces on the floor. Now, contrast that with the scripture in Ephesians description of the body.

Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work. (Eph 4:15-16)

Note that in the above scripture posted above, each part of the body of Christ is to do its part. There is no one part expected to do it all but that is how church is done today. One person does it all and the rest are spectators.
