Pigs
I had a disturbing dream just be fore waking this morning.
Before posting the dream I want to provide some background.
When King David brought the Ark to Jerusalem the first time, because it was not transported as commanded by the Lord, it cost Uzza his life. The Ark had been in the house of Abinadab since it was sent back from the Philistines on a cart. Uzza was the son of Abinadab and so would have grown up around the Ark and therefore had become familiar with it. So when the people of Israel tried to bring the Ark into Jerusalem using the same method it cost Uzza his life. It is worthy of note that no one had said anything about the manner in which the Ark was transported. Familiarity with God can prove deadly. Being that Uzza had grown up around the Ark it lost its sense of Reverential Awe.
Now to my dream.
In the dream I saw, once again, the Ark of the Lord being taken to what I believe was the temple on a cart. Only this time it was not being drawn by oxen but pigs were pulling it. The people walking besides the pigs seemed to be laughing in a mocking sort of way. There was a crowd of people on both sides of the street watching this yet no one said a thing. Pigs were a defiled animal to the Jews which makes what I saw in the dream more disgusting. I remember being with my friend Bill and elbowing him to take note of what was going on and he was as incredulous as me.
When Jesus cast out the legion of demons from the Gadarene man. They pleaded with Jesus to send them into the pigs. The people of Gadera made a living off of pigs which was forbidden. So when Jesus cast out the demons who in turn possessed the pigs who drowned, the town asked Him to leave. It seemed that they would rather pigs in the city than Jesus in the city.
Is it any wonder that the Lord says,
2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (NKJV) 14 if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land. 15 Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
There are too many pigs (false Christians, worldly Christians) in the church who treat the Presence of God (the Ark of the Lord) too casually and without respect. If a Christian truly experiences the Presence of God, then that Christian becomes more separate from the world and more in tune with the leadings of the Holy Ghost. Satan has done an outstanding job of infiltrating the church with false doctrines and false Christians (pigs). We need the Presence of God in our lives, so that we have the discernment to know who the pigs really are in our lives.
This reminds me of that scripture about casting pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6).
The Lord has rebuked me more for casting pearls before swine than anything else in my life. The swine were almost always shallow Christians.

Amen Tim!!
I agree that discernment is critical as satan has infiltrated every aspect, and wants Christians to conform to the world and not yoke with Christ who saves, redeems, heals, delivers, frees, regenerates and transform as we conform to Christ. Too many have been fooled by deconstruction and wokeness and progressive liberalism, returning to the mud like swine, and casting pearls before swine they turn against the Truth and those who speak it; they would rather be popular than holy; they turn back to vomit like dogs (2 Peter 2:22) and we are warned to watch out for the dogs (Philippians 3:2); the dogs don’t have the right to the tree of life or enter by the gate of Christ for they are outside the gate with the other “dogs and sorcerers and fornicators and murderers and idolaters and every one who loves and practices falsehood” (Revelation 22:14-15 RSV). I never thought I would see the day where the Truth is reviled and falsehood glorified. “Come apart and be separate…for what does the temples of God have to do with idols?” (2 Cor 6:16). Come out of her lest you share in her plagues and take part in her sins.” (Rev 18:4). Will God soon separate the wheat from the tares with fire?
Powerful!!
Tony: speaking of pigs: you may want to watch this video. St. Pierre, Martinique was destroyed by a volcanic eruption in 1902. The people in St. Pierre were warned and warned to repent of their sins. The Easter Sunday before the eruption, some people in St. Pierre crucified a pig and named it “J.C., King of the Christians.” (in the video, you can start at the 3:20 mark)
People are free to mock God all they want, but if they don’t repent, God’s mercy runs out eventually.

October 26, 2020 I had a passage of Scripture spoken to me in a dream. All it said was Mark 5:17. I had to look it up. “Then they began to plead with Him to depart from their region”.
When I noted this in my journal, I too asked the question, “Did the people prefer a demoniac in their midst over the Lord? Were they concerned He may disrupt their lives? Deliver them from sin they wanted to keep?”
Today we see that which is Godly being mocked and blasphemed by those “in charge”, while the public just watches in silence.
The people on the sides kept quiet which, in essence, is agreement.
Indeed!
