In Whose Image?
I had a dream the morning of December 26, 2016. In the dream I saw the inside of a factory. My attention was drawn to a conveyor belt coming out of this big machine. What was coming out of the machine and moving along on the conveyor belt were church buildings. As I watched, i noticed each one was the same as if from a mold and/or design pattern as it came out of the machine and moved along the assembly line. Next I saw people down the assembly line with what I will call Ken & Barbie-like figures and they would take them and put them into the church buildings. At the end of the assembly line I saw other workers take the church buildings filled with plastic people and put them into boxes ready for shipping.
When Moses was with the Lord in the mountain he was cautioned to build according to the pattern that he was shown. His opinion was of no consequence as his opinion was not welcomed or asked for. His obedience was what was demanded of him.
The pattern we are to follow today left for us by the Lord is that we’re are to be a living building housing the glory of the Lord and taking the ekklesia to the people.
Eph 2:19 — Eph 2:22
Christ Our Cornerstone
Now, therefore, you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you also are being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
I also think that the fact that the people being placed into the building were plastic is worthy of note also as this is what you find in many churches . People unwilling and/or unable to be real for fear of rejection and ridicule and finding themselves unwelcome.
