Don’t Gamble With The Devil… You’ll Loose

I had a dream the morning of 10/29/2016 where I saw a fire pit like one would see at a camp site only there was no wood in this fire pit just human bones and I also saw a pair of dice. I then saw a croupier’s rake. For those of you not familiar with a croupier’s rake, it is what is used in gambling at a craps table to rake both chips and dice off of the table. The pit was being emptied in anticipation of it’s next victim.

The individual consumed in this fire pit is nameless and faceless which is one of the realities of hell. You have no name and your identity is your sin in life. Which reminds me of another dream that I had 6 years ago in 2010 that I will post below:

Now there was a rich man, and he habitually dressed in purple and fine linen, joyously living in splendor every day. “And a poor man named Lazarus was laid at his gate, covered with sores, and longing to be fed with the crumbs which were falling from the rich man’s table; besides, even the dogs were coming and licking his sores. “Now the poor man died and was carried away by the angels to Abraham’s bosom; and the rich man also died and was buried. “In Hades he lifted up his eyes, being in torment, and *saw Abraham far away and Lazarus in his bosom. “And he cried out and said, ‘Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus so that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool off my tongue, for I am in agony in this flame.’ “But Abraham said, ‘Child, remember that during your life you received your good things, and likewise Lazarus bad things; but now he is being comforted here, and you are in agony. ‘And besides all this, between us and you there is a great chasm fixed, so that those who wish to come over from here to you will not be able, and that none may cross over from there to us.’ “And he said, ‘Then I beg you, father, that you send him to my father’s house– for I have five brothers–in order that he may warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ “But Abraham *said, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them hear them.’ “But he said, ‘No, father Abraham, but if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ “But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’”
(Luke 16:19-31 NASB)

I had the preceding passage of scripture shown to me as I was waking up the Morning of May 31, 2010

Subj: Luke 16:19-31
The Lord revealed this to me as I was waking the morning of May 31, 2010. The 2 people that Jesus talks about here are actual people I believe. It is the only parable that I am aware of where Jesus uses a name of an individual.  One of the people is simply known as, “a certain rich man”, while the other, a beggar, is known by Jesus as Lazarus. They both suffer the same fate that is common to all men which is death. However, here is where the differences are.

1. Lazarus is known by his name and carried by God’s angels into Abraham’s bosom.
2. The rich man is not known by his name but by his sin and lifestyle and is buried.
3. The rich man realizes he is in hell and why he is there.
4. The rich man recognizes Lazarus
5. The rich man has concern for his brothers but is powerless to do anything about their condition and knows that if they don’t change, they will end up where he is.
6. In heaven you cannot sin and in hell, you can’t repent
7. In heaven you have no past because it is covered by the blood and forgiven and in hell you have no future

  1. 19 There was a certain (type of) rich man (a type of Pastor who is full of his own understanding) who was clothed in purple (clothed himself with a Christian title) and fine linen (clothed in word of God yet did not understand it), and fared sumptuously every day (ate the word without understanding what it means)
The following link describes the rich man as a minister of God who does not feed the sheep the riches/true meaning of the WORD. Instead the rich man/minister throws out crumbs (wrong interpretation or just enough to keep them alive but not productive). http://biblehub.com/commentaries/gill/luke/16.htm
20 and there was a certain beggar names Lazarus, (God has helped; The beggar was unable to provide the word of God for himself as he was spiritually wounded) which was laid at his gate, full of sores (sins). (Who is laid at our gate full of wounds of sin?)
Lazarus from Eleazar “GOD HAS HELPED”
    http://www.abarim-publications.com/Meaning/Lazarus.html#.V9jtbmWMCCQ
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs (was hungry for God’s words) which fell from the rich man’s table (A type of minister of the Word believing he was rich yet did not have understanding of the Word of God. He did not feed the little lambs who were wounded. Because they are wounded they are unable to search out the word of the Lord for themselves); moreover (instead) the dogs (unbelievers/the world) came and licked his sores (wounds – the world will try to bring solutions)
22 And it came to pass that the beggar (he is a beggar because he was full of wounds and unable to dig out the hidden meaning of the word for himself; he was poor in spiritual understanding) died and was carried (up) by the angels into Abraham’s bosom; the rich (in self knowledge/understanding; a type of minister, Pastor) man also died and was buried (below)
23 And in hell (below) he lift up his eyes, being in torment, and sees Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom (A waiting place through the promise to Abraham until Christ paid for the sin of mankind. Abraham’s bosom was not in hell because one is not comforted in hell)
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, (God’s promises were given to Abraham. This man was part of the family of God’s) have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime received thy good things (full of self will), and likewise Lazarus evil things (evil is all that is contrary to what God says; wrong interpretation); but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented (in hell).
Luke 6:21 blessed are ye that hunger now; (for the truth) for you shall be filled. Blessed are you that weep now; (while putting self to death) for you shall laugh

    • Interesting interpretation. While I do firmly believe that ministers who water down the Word and those who blatantly lie are in danger of judgement as you’ve stated. The sense that I received from the Lord was that this rich man represented an individual who could care less about anybody but himself. The rich man’s sin was greed as was stated by Abraham and he was being judged for his lifestyle.
To your point, however, God does say woe to the shepherds who feed only themselves.
      Thank you for your input.

      • yes you are right it represents an individual . I wrote pastor because the Lord had showed me a Pastor i knew who was a wolf in sheep clothing The Lord used this scripture to open my eyes and it was fresh on my spirit when I responded to your blog….so that is why I wrote “pastor” It is in effect as you said, “any individual who could not care less about anybody but himself”

The devil is a conquered enemy, so says the Word.
If we have a close relation wih our Lord, and we stand in His sacrifise on the Crosse, the devil has no buisiness in our business. We need to examine the meaning of His sacrifise and His Blood. ‘The Blood will make you free’
It does not come by wind, automatically, but with our relationship, we’ll have to make steps and investments (of time) to consume His wonderfull offer.

    Evangelie is simpel.
We must not make it more difficult than it is, and give the devil any honour. We stick to His offer. The ‘old’ churchfathers understood.

Sorry, I was distracted: the Truth will make you free.

    (and so the Blood)

    • Unfortunately Sandra there will be those in the last days who will walk away from the truth that set them free to their own hurt and ultimate destruction.
