I had a dream that I’m now posting as I believe I have some understanding of its meaning. I the dream I was walking with Jesus on a bed of hot coals and we were barefoot. I remember in the dream that I had to keep in step with Jesus. If He stopped and I kept going, I’d have to go back and wait until He began to walk again. After the bed of coals came to an end, I was on a path where there were trees and vegetation on either side of the path.
What I believe that I understand from the dream is that the coals represented purification and sanctification. The path ahead was my calling. I did not see an end, which I believe would have represented my death, just a path upon which to walk. It was not a particularly wide path if I remember.
What also comes to mind here, and I fully realize that this may be a stretch, is the 6th chapter Isaiah where the prophet sees the Lord. I related thar to my previous dream where I saw the eagle eye to eye. Then the prophet looked inward and realized his need for purification, represented by my walk across the hot coals, then finally being sent on his way, the path that was before me.
Isa 6:1 — Isa 6:8
Isaiah Called to Be a Prophet
6 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts;
The whole earth is full of His glory!”
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke.
So I said:
“Woe is me, for I am undone!
Because I am a man of unclean lips,
And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.”
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said:
“Behold, this has touched your lips;
Your iniquity is taken away,
And your sin purged.”
Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying:
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
I even have a shirt written in both Hebrew and English that says,”here am I send me”, .
