On Eagles Wings
Isa 40:29 — Isa 40:31
He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.
Every one of is has or will have trials and tribulations in our lives. Jesus promised us that we would have it but also told us to be of good cheer because He had overcome the world.
My family is experiencing some tribulation that I am not going to elaborate on at this time. Suffice it to say that I am learning to lean on the Lord.
At the beginning of this posting I quoted a passage from Isaiah. The part that became real to me is those who wait upon the Lord shall mount up on wings of Eagles.
When one is in the thick of the battle it is hard, if not impossible, to see things from a heavenly perspective. Hence the dream that I am posting is helping me to see things from above.
In the dream I was in the battle here on earth. Then I saw a pair of Eagles Wings grow on my back near my shoulder blades. I then was lifted higher above the battle me and my family are currently in and was able to see things from a different perspective than I could being earth bound.
Waiting upon the Lord does not mean sitting around saying woe is me and feeling sorry for yourself. It does mean that you wait and are about the Lords business with the expectation that He wants the best for you and that the battle ultimately belongs to Him.
