My Dreams and Visions

Dreams and Visions

Intimacy With Jesus

I had a vision begin a day or so ago and it has stuck with me so I am now posting it to this blog.

In this vision I saw a bride walking down the Isle to meet her groom waiting for her at the end. About half way down the Isle she stops and is overcome with fear. The fear that I sensed in the vision was the fear of the wedding nite.
This bride, as one may have already guessed is the church and the groom awaiting her is Jesus.

This has to do with the events that transpired in the garden. Note that it says the following.

Gen 2:25
25 And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed.(NKJVS)

That all changed when they ate of the forbidden fruit which I believe should be called the fruit of religion.

Up to that point God’s glory had been their covering.
NKJV with Strong’s Psalms 8:5 5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
And You have crowned him with glory and honor.

The word crowned here is the Hebrew word atar and it means to surround encompass or encircle.

There is nothing about us that Jesus doesn’t already know and therefore He is shock proof. Also worthy of note is when Jacob was wrestling with The Angel of the Lord he was asked his name. Jacobs response was my name is Jacob. What the Lord in essence was asking was who are you? His name meant liar, deceiver, grabber of the heal. However, after a night of wrestling with the Lord he went from being Jacob to now being Israel which means he who struggles with God. When he was honest and naked with the Lord the Lord changed his name.

It is not Jesus that puts the fear of intimacy with him in our hearts but the lies of religion and our own misguided beliefs.
Jesus longs for intimacy with His beloved. He is patiently waiting for His Bride to finish her walk down the isle.

Tony you are right. We need to be ready for Him anytime now.. Marsha

  2. A lot of people fear/are wary of intimacy with Jesus..but that is where we ought to be. For the Bridegroom and the bride ought to be intimate with one another in a functional and healthy marriage.

  3. Thank you for sharing this.
I’ve been struggling with personal issues and my own fears lately that align with what you have been seeing/wrote about. In dealing with my own personal struggles I realize that overcoming fear of change (letting go in order to be healed) was my first step, which is what I’m working on now.

Anyone who dont bear good fruits will be chop down and thrown into fire. Jesus died on the cross not for a group of people but for individual, so His judgment will come on each one of us. A church can be change when individual that composes it change. This is true when Jesus says that Heaven rejoices over one sinner that repents than the many that are unrepentant (reflection over mary magdalene story).

    • Mat 18:12-14
12 “ What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety- nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety- nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish.
      (NKJVS)

Is this what you are referring to Joey?

Yes Tony. In todays church many are so religious, active in church activities or always goes to mass. “How so easy for them to do big things for the Lord, whereas those every little things the Lord requires of them most they don’t follow”. They show kindness in front of people is it really what the Lord wants? He did say that when you show kindness to others do itin such a way that even your right hand wont know what your left hand is doing. Our God dont want cattle or bull offerings for He owns them all. What He requires of us is our heart, that is all He requires of us our heart, the purity of our heart in every little things He requires of us. Doesn’t it He two greatest commandments is all about love?

More so heaven rejoices over a sinner that sincerely repents over many unrepentants and claimed to be children of God but dont want to change.

I feel safe with Jesus. In fact He is the only one who knows my heart, and He is the only One I trust it to. Better that He knows, than anybody else. Jesus won’t condemn or/and misuse it. People do, when they know your weaknesses etc. I know my heart isn”t all that, but still I feel safe. He may know everything of me, I don’t mind, on the contrary. Do i try to hide things from people? Yes I think it is wise to do sometimes ! But from Him ? No !

For the rest I’d like to say:
we need to go back to the fundament.
Sounds simple, but simple things are not that simple for people. How does one become simple? 🙂 It may take years

Important to get rid of all learnings.

The Truth will bring more Truth out
And lies will close insights more and more
    I know this from experience.

Throw books away. These may include: christians books.
Christian books?? O yes, you bet. If they contain lies or half truths. I don’t mean that the writer does this on purpose. Once they are away the things of the Holy Spirit start streaming again.

Somehow I feel very strongly, that the Lord does not accept this anymore, the way teachers etc talk about Him, in their ‘wisdom’
There are many friends of Job! They are my allergy too. Sorry, this does not sound so nice.

    Rev 12:11

“And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony”

    Yep!

It is an active thing !

    Using the Blood.
    And speaking, speaking, speaking

    But not without believe.

And really, how simple is this !

The Truth sets us free ! Reading, acting, speaking, believing

Believing is hard sometimes, but we must not condemn ourselves if we don’t have enough believe, we can ask Him ! It is not a shame. Mark 9:14: “I believe, O Lord, help my unbelief”

    • The thing is Sandra is that we should be able to trust those were in covenant relationship with. Church has become big business and not the close intimate fellowship it began as. It is no wonder one does not feel safe letting his/her guard down.

    Right.

When people’s hearts are not right, we must not give things away.

Not about our children, not about us, just NOT.

    Must be selective with that.

The wonderfull thing is, this is not persé sad.

There are certain hearts, we learn not to give things away, built more and more on our God, get more and more grateful for Who He is, and this is also a way to His divine protection. He makes it an advantage.

  7. Loved it. I hope my blog can be an example of intimacy with the Lord too. I love the topic. And you are a great example. God shares His secrets with those who are intimate with Him.
