Fellowship In The Light
I John 1:7-10 NKJV
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.
I had a dream 12/20/2014 where I saw a huge torch that was lit and burning brightly . I saw people gathered around the torch holding smaller torches of their own and I am assuming, because of other dreams I’ve had, that they got their light from the torch in the center. There were others outside of the circle who were not happy about those gathered in the circle around the torch. They were trying to extinguish the lit torches but could not. These outside the circle were in darkness and preferred darkness.
John 3:19-21 NKJV
And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed. But he who does the truth comes to the light, that his deeds may be clearly seen, that they have been done in God.”
Those that fellowship in the light could see one another’s faces. This was an important fact in the dream. I believe t b at it indicated that they intimately knew one another, not sexually, but the people in the circle saw one another for who they were.
There was no judging in the circle because there was no unconfessed sin. Unconfessed sin is unforgiven sin. People who knowingly harbor sin are judgemental because they want the focus to be off of themselves but in so doing, they judge and bring judgement on themselves.
The ones in the circle saw the light and did not shy away from it. Their faces were towards the light and towards 9ne another. Hence the scripture I quote from 1 John that says if we walk in the light as He is in the light we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus cleanses us from all sin.
I will be the first to admit that walking in the light is a level of accountability and transparency that is uncomfortable but is where I need to be.
May we all desire to be in the light.
