Dreams and Visions

The Mean Man

I had a dream this morning. 07/13/2013. In this dream I saw a bunch of children running along a beach. Some were flying kites and some were not but all were carefree and innocent. Then I saw the “mean man” show up. He was wearing a black trench coat; I did not see his face. The mean man would walk up behind the children and touch them.  When he touched them they became frozen, I.e. , they were frozen in time, the time of the offense, and didn’t play anymore nor did they grow anymore. The man was indiscriminately touching kids at different ages, there was no set pattern to his actions. When he touched them, as I mentioned before, they became frozen at that age and time and stopped playing and growing. There are many “children” in adult bodies whose spirits have stopped growing because of offenses in their childhood.

The scripture that comes to mind here is:

but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea.
(Mat 18:6)
The word “stumble” here is the Greek word skan-dal-id’-zo To “scandalize”; from G4625; to entrap, that is, trip up (figuratively stumble [transitively] or entice to sin, apostasy or displeasure): – (make to) offend.

I remember being at some sort of gathering and calling these “kids”up in front. I remember holding a microphone in the dream. As they came up, they would say what had happened to them as children. Most in the dream were young adults.

I had a ministry years back of praying for people and seeing them set free. I do not believe that these kids were called up front to shame them, but instead were called up front out of the darkness and into God’s healing light. Light exposes darkness.

  1. I was thinking more along the lines of Christians who are still babies in Christ when they should be hard core believers.

“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food.” Heb. 5:12

Sadly, this describes alot of Christians in our world today. Maybe the mean man was Satan giving his ‘bait’ to new believers, who in turn stayed where they were at, spiritually speaking and never impacted the kingdom of God.

How powerful!!! I love it so much! And these are indeed things that hold us back in life.
