Dreams and Visions

Is there not a prophet of the LORD here?

But Jehoshaphat said, “Is there not yet a prophet of the LORD here that we may inquire of him?” The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, “There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him, because he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” But Jehoshaphat said, “Let not the king say so.”
(1Ki 22:7-8)

This is the King of Israel and not some pagan that King Jehoshaphat asks, “is there not a prophet of the Lord here that we may inquire of him?”. Isn’t it sad that there is only yet “one prophet”, while there were many false prophets. Remember, Jezebel was having the prophets of the Lord put to death. The Jezebel spirit is a prophet killer and will try to silence a true prophet of God. A true prophet of the Lord is considered to prophesy nothing but evil while the false prophets are said to speak only good because the prophesy what people want to hear. Isn’t that true today as well?

Jesus warns of false prophets

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves. “You will know them by their fruits. Grapes are not gathered from thorn bushes nor figs from thistles, are they?
(Mat 7:15-16)

“Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many.

(Mat 24:11)

When one preaches on righteousness, he’s called legalistic. I have heard things like God doesn’t see my sin it’s under the blood, or I’m not under the law, I’m under grace. One lady who I know was having sex outside of marriage told me that the pastor told her that God understood that she had needs. Is it any wonder the church is without power and not taken seriously. It is much easier to say that the Lord doesn’t move in power anymore than it is to fall on one’s face and weep over one’s sin and ask the Lord to forgive.

Look at what King David says concerning a rebuke from a righteous man.

Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness; and let him correct me, it is oil on my head, let not my head refuse it; for still my prayer also shall be against their wickedness.
(Psa 141:5)

Paul says the following of those who would live godly lives:

Indeed, all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.
(2Ti 3:12)

This is the grace of God.

Titus 2:11-12 KJV

For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self‑controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,

Grace therefore is not a covering for sin it is the very thing that teaches us not to live ungodly lives.

The blood of Jesus does cover sin but we should look at that statement a little closer.
1 John 1:6-7, 9 NIV84

If we claim to have fellowship with him yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live by the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

If we walk in sin, we do not walk in light because God is light. Instead, we walk in darkness. If we claim that we can sin but God doesn’t see because our sins are covered by the blood we deceive ourselves and we walk in untruth and darkness.

To walk in the light as He is light means that His blood cleanses us from all unrighteousness.

The blood covers an act of sin, not a lifestyle. Which leads me to my next point.

In 1 John 1:9 it says if we confess our sins He forgives them.

Let’s look at the word confess and see its Greek origin. In Greek, the word confess comes from 2 words.
The first word is,“homo“ meaning same and the second is,“logeo“, meaning word.
So if we speak the same word and have the same attitude towards our sin as God does then we are forgiven, our sin is covered by the blood, we walk in the light as He is in the light, and we have fellowship with Him and with one another.

Paul warns of a time which I believe we are now living in where people will not put up with sound biblical doctrine.

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth and will turn aside to myths.
(2Ti 4:3-4)

I saw a vision 02/04/2013 and in this vision I saw false prophets and many people were gathered around these false prophets. As these false prophets would open their mouths to speak, little vipers would come out of their mouths and the people saw this but they didn’t run. They just stood there and kept on listening .

The false prophet is welcome in such a church, in fact, as the above scripture above says, people seek such prophets out. The people today have a consumer mentality and always week out the best deal. So churches have become corporations each with a marketing plan to attract consumers and their dollars and also develop plans to keep these consumers spending their money at the company store, i.e., the church. The church was never meant to be an organizational structure but a living organism expressing the life of its head, Jesus Christ.

There is a saying that says that Christianity began in Jerusalem as a fellowship, moved to Greece where it became a philosophy, then moved to Rome where it became an institution, a culture in Europe and finally an enterprise in America

Foundations Exposed:

Look at what the Lord says to Ezekiel and Jeremiah regarding false prophets.

Thus says the LORD of hosts, “Do not listen to the words of the prophets who are prophesying to you. They are leading you into futility; They speak a vision of their own imagination, Not from the mouth of the LORD. “They keep saying to those who despise Me, ‘The LORD has said, “You will have peace”‘; And as for everyone who walks in the stubbornness of his own heart, They say, ‘Calamity will not come upon you.’ “But who has stood in the council of the LORD, That he should see and hear His word? Who has given heed to His word and listened?
(Jer 23:16-18)

The Lord showed me a vision in March of 2012 and in the vision I saw a huge church. The church building itself had been separated from its foundation so that the foundation on which it was built was exposed for all to see. The church building was beside the foundation and was no longer hiding the foundation upon which it had been built.

“‘This is what the Almighty LORD says: How horrible it will be for the foolish prophets. They follow their own ideas, and they have seen nothing. Israel, your prophets are like foxes among the ruins of a city. They haven’t repaired the gaps in the wall or rebuilt the wall for the nation of Israel. So Israel will not be protected in battle on the day of the LORD. These foolish prophets see false visions, and their predictions don’t come true. They say, “The LORD said this.” But the LORD hasn’t sent them. Then they hope that their message will come true. Prophets of Israel, haven’t you seen false visions and predicted things that don’t come true? Don’t you say, “The LORD said this,” even though I haven’t said anything? “‘This is what the Almighty LORD says: Your predictions are false, and your visions are lies. That is why I’m against you, declares the Almighty LORD. I will use my power against the prophets who see false visions and predict things that don’t come true. They will not help my people make decisions or be recorded in the records of the nation of Israel. They won’t even enter Israel. Then you will know that I am the LORD. “‘They have deceived my people by saying that everything is alright, but it’s not alright. When someone builds a flimsy wall, the prophets cover it up with paint. Tell those who cover up the wall with paint that their wall will fall down. Rain will pour down, hailstones will fall on it, and stormy winds will break it to pieces. When the wall falls down, people will ask them, “Where’s the paint that you used to cover the wall?”
(Eze 13:3-12)

Whitewash covers the composition of the wall so that it is hidden from view of men but nothing is hidden from the eyes of the Lord.To think otherwise is foolish. Repairing the gaps in the wall has to do with seeing where the enemy is getting in and closing it so that he no longer has access. This is a message in and of it self which I will address at another time.

“‘This is what the Almighty LORD says: In my fury I’ll cause a storm to break out. In my anger rain will pour down, and hailstones will destroy the wall. I will tear down the wall that the prophets covered up with paint. I will level it and expose its foundation. When the wall falls, they will be destroyed by it. Then you will know that I am the LORD.
(Eze 13:13-14)

In the vision I had which is posted above, the church, which was very large, was moved from its foundation. Its foundation was exposed for all to see.

Unless your foundation is the ROCK, Jesus Christ, when the storms come with their fury, and they will come, the house will crumble along with the foundation upon which it was built.
