I saw a vision the morning of Friday, October 23, 2009 . I saw water pouring from under the throne of God onto the earth. Some were catching the water in buckets and keeping it for themselves
while others while others were cupping their hands and giving it to others . In order to satisfy their need and the needs of others , they needed to be constantly be coming back to the source .
The Lord says the following about storing water in Jeremiah, “My people have sinned twice. They have deserted me, even though I am the spring of water that gives life. And they have dug their own wells. But those wells are broken. They can’t hold any water.(Jer 2:13 NIrV)
Anointing must be flowing. Water comes in and water flows out. Non-flowing water is stagnant and stagnant water attracts blood sucking parasites. Remember, the life is in the blood.
A Pharisee in the time of Jesus would not wash his hands in anything but flowing water.
We must come back continually to Jesus, the source of living water. Living water is meant to be shared and not hoarded. The Dead Sea is dead because water flows in but nothing flows out.
The other admonition is to not depend on one’s “anointing” but instead rely on Jesus. Again, He is the source of living water.
So, if your anointing seems dry or stagnant, then come back to Jesus the source of Living water.
